On November 1, the 9th China Western SME Development Forum opened in Chengdu, themed "New Mission, New Development — Promoting the Vitality of SME Growth." The forum was guided by the Chengdu Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Exposition, and the Chenghua District People's Government; hosted by the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises; organized by the Chengdu SME Association; and co-sponsored by the Chengdu Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, the Chenghua District New Economy and Science & Technology Bureau of Chengdu, the Shaanxi SME Association, the Guizhou SME Development Promotion Association, the Yunnan SME Association, the Yunnan Micro and Small Enterprise Federation, the Ningxia SME Association, the Xinjiang SME Association, the Chongqing SME Association, the Chongqing SME Development Promotion Association, and the Qingyang District New Social Stratum Association of Chengdu, among others.
